Who Are the Saints?
We have a new Pope. Iím not Catholic, so I say ''we;'' because without the Catholic Church, there may not have been a central Christian religion for the rest of us (we) to spring from. Plus, it was at Catholic school in High Point, NC where I first really heard about ''saints.'' If Iím not Catholic, why did I go to Catholic school you might ask? I only went for one year, sixth grade and found out later in life that I was somewhat of a ''problem child.'' Moi? No way! It was later in life that I found out one didnít have to be Catholic to be a saint. But saints always mimicked the works of Jesus; helping the poor, the lepers, the weak and abused, educating others about God, all for no personal gain. Because of their efforts during their lives to glorify the name of God while helping, they were often thought to have a ďdivineĒ relationship with the Almighty. Their gain was somewhere else. So who are the saints?
"You truly do have a gift from God and I know you will use it wisely. I commend you on your efforts to reach the unsaved. They just don't know what they're missing but with your writings many will in time.”
“Presenting the Bible in layman terminology is exactly what's needed to help spread the word to those who do not yet believe and to help them understand what is coming next in your book‚Ķ"
“Well, I must say that I have never finished any book in two days (well since elementary school anyway) and I loved every page of it! You are a fantastic author and I can't wait to read the others as they come out! You have a way of capturing words to make the reader feel as if they are seeing things through their own eyes as well as creating characters who are delightfully interesting and complex."
Reasons To Read These Books:
- J.L. Robb draws you in to a mysterious, spiritual and supernatural world that will provoke thought about your own beliefs or why you may have none.
- An incredible thriller and love story, The End The Book weaves the reader through an Alice in Wonderlandish web of intrigue that tells a story of how the world as we now know it could end, yet is remarkably believable based on what's going on in the world today. Amazing and thought provoking. Not for the faint of heart.
- Hollywood writes scary movies about the End of the World. According to the Bible, God wrote one too. Much scarier.
